So I feel so lucky to of been chosen to be a devotee for the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival for 2013. I am amongst an amazing group of five other inspirational and talented people all based in Melbourne. The LMFF team just did a piece on us on their Blog and I feel pretty spesh ;)
I almost always forget there is only 28 days in February (well most of the time anyway) and have now just realised tomorrow is the 1st of March! Already!! So this means there is only 2 WEEKS to go :)
I'll make sure I keep you all in the loop, as it is such an iconic event you definitely don't want to miss out. I'll include the pictures from the piece LMFF did on the 6 devotees below, but head HERE to be taken to the blog for more information and to see the post. The beautiful peeps in the photo below are in order as follows; The lovely Chelsea from I Heart Bargains in the first, myself from… here ;), the talented Megan also known as Jewelchic, a group photo of us (minus Liz Cambage) at the official program launch at Torcadero. Then the amazing Davis of Davis Diary and Maison Davis, after it's Liz Cambage the star of Women's Basketball in Australia (and you can find her on instagram @cambage), then in the last photo is the beautiful Jasmin from her popular, well known blog Friend in Fashion. So we are the 6 devotees- such a mixed bunch which I love as we all bring something different to the festival, conveying our own messages and thoughts on what we find interesting. While also sharing our adventures through our own eyes on our social media sites. Stay in the loop by following the official LMFF blog HERE, and also keep updated by checking back here when you can :) xx

Print on Print with Romance was Born from JASU xx
So on the weekend Liz from Street Smith and I got together to shoot some new 'Romance was Born' probably one of my favourite labels. Their pieces are timeless and so different from anyone else. The funny thing is that I would personally never think to put this shirt with this skirt, but it works? Well, I think it does ;) The outfit was supplied by the amazing online store JASU which also has amazing labels that I love like Friend of mine, Ellery and Goot. Love it!
I love how the whole idea behind the label is to be creative and out there. To make a statement and and fun with the clothing. Don't be too serious. I love playing around and changing it up a bit - especially wearing bright, bold colours and fun prints. The earrings are Assad Mounser and the necklace is Holst + Lee both available at Husk. Then the staple boots by Friend of Mine which I know own two pairs and contemplating a third! Anyway, here are the photos below x

Mossman 'Shape Shifter'
So I've teamed up with Mossman to help exclusively launch their latest collection 'Shape Shifter.' Pretty excited!! The clothes are amazing and I have ordered pretty much the whole collection! Can't wait to do some outfit posts and show you all. The pieces are so wearable and can easily take you from day to night. Green has always been a favourite colour of mine so I'm diggin the colour palette they've used! Oh and you can't go wrong with black, can you!? I'd have to say a fave of mine is the black and white dress in the third image ('She's a wallflower dress'), but in saying that I have a few faves... I'm currently up in Sydney hanging out with the sis until Thursday, but I've been told I've received a few goodies back at home so very anxious to get back and check out my new pieces, thanks to the amazing team at Mossman!
They have used the stunning 'Zippora Seven' in their campaign and she looks pretty damn hot!
Anyway, the collection launches in store and online this Thursday 28th, so I highly recommend checking it out- you're bound to find something you like :) click HERE to be taken to their website! Until next time..... xx

Summer time happiness.
Summer time always brings a smile on my face. As soon as day light savings starts, it's as if my energy level lifts and rises 10 fold! This summer I spent 2 weeks in Yamba, just south of Byron Bay. It's a mini slice of heaven and super relaxing! Highly recommend visiting, if you get the chance. Anyway, Summer reminds me of Mr Whippy, fruit salads, beach, sunsets, cocktails, bikinis, long days, palm trees, tropical islands, summer dresses, pool parties, hammocks, icey-poles, bright colours - and these are just a few things that come to mind when I think of the hot season. Below is a snapshot of images of what summer is to me. The photo of the bikinis are some of my picks of the season. The pair with the printed flag is by Wildfox, which is distributed by 'Eyegasm' in Australia. Then the neoprene neon pink top is A.T.G swimwear with American Apparel bottoms ( I was given this set by my sister for Chrissy and fell in love! The photo of the yellow bikini further down is also ATG) and last but not least the super cute orange polka dot pair is made by my friend Erin who designs for Triangl (she has literally just brought out these amazing neoprene bikinis that are to die for, go and check out her online boutique!!). And there you have it… Just quietly, I would love to be relaxing at some of the places below right now! xx

I'll take you on a Treasure Hunt.
So I am lucky enough to work for a company that I would argue, has the most diverse, amazing and original selection of jewellery sourced from around the world. I have worked for Husk for almost a year now and have been introduced to labels like Shourouk, Lyie Van Rycke, Assad Mounser and Tom Binns. All of these designers have signature styles and looks, while being incredibly unique and different from the many other ordinary labels that exist. I now consider these to be apart of my favourite designers and I will show you why. Now not all of the designers I mentioned above are in the photos below, but I was lucky enough to play around with some beautiful pieces, while Liz McLeish from Street Smith took some photographs, (ummmm… she's such an amazing photographer!!) All items are photographed on me below, and Liz came up with the idea of photographing them against a plain black slip, so the photo is all about the jewellery. I love them, and the jewellery and if you haven't already heard about the designers in the photos below, I highly recommend popping into Husk to check them out, or simply looking them up with the links I've provided below. However, in the fourth photo I am wearing pieces by my fellow LMFF devotee, Megan Castran of Jewelchic, who makes beautiful hand made pieces in amazing bright colours which are great statement pieces for any girl.
In the first photo I am wearing Assad Mounser. Probably a top fave of mine. I just love her designs.. I could wear pretty much all of the collection, any day of the week!
In the second, who else but Shourouk!! There is such a signature look, which I love, and the pieces all interact with each other, without being too much. The vibrant colours are fun and beautiful, and although it is a little bit expensive, the pieces are worth saving up for.
Then I have Venessa Arizaga in the third photo. Love her designs and techniques of making jewellery. It's quirky, fun and very wearable. Her pieces are diverse and you could easily wear them from day to night.
After, as mentioned above, I'm wearing pieces by Megan Castran. Fun, wearable and unique. Great for layering and playing around with!
Last, but not least I have bracelets on by Dannijo. Love the designs, the colours and am planning on buying a few more to add to my growing collection!

Ilaria Nistri FW12-13
So we just received in the latest collection from Ilaria Nistri at work (Husk) and I have to say, I am totally in love. I pretty much want everything from the whole collection. I love all the styles, the colours, the fits and the materials used. The Maxi skirt with the split open front, seen in the second and third photos below in white, the sixth and ninth photo in black (one has a leather trim- which is even more amazing), and also in the beautiful almost 'chartreuse/lime' colour-way as well as the khaki green, is my favourite piece in the whole collection. I am dying for it! It looks so good on and makes your legs look super long! The drape knits, oversized cuts and layering are all part of the 'look' and make for the perfect silhouette. I actually want to save for one of everything, including the over the knee, black leather wedges worn throughout the look book below, which are so so hot!!! I can imagine them being extremely expensive, but I can see myself wearing them to death throughout winter making the price totally worth it!! I'll just need to convince someone to buy it for me :)
