Summer time happiness.

Summer time always brings a smile on my face. As soon as day light savings starts, it's as if my energy level lifts and rises 10 fold! This summer I spent 2 weeks in Yamba, just south of Byron Bay. It's a mini slice of heaven and super relaxing! Highly recommend visiting, if you get the chance. Anyway, Summer reminds me of Mr Whippy, fruit salads, beach, sunsets, cocktails, bikinis, long days, palm trees, tropical islands, summer dresses, pool parties, hammocks, icey-poles, bright colours - and these are just a few things that come to mind when I think of the hot season. Below is a snapshot of images of what summer is to me. The photo of the bikinis are some of my picks of the season. The pair with the printed flag is by Wildfox, which is distributed by 'Eyegasm' in Australia. Then the neoprene neon pink top is A.T.G swimwear with American Apparel bottoms ( I was given this set by my sister for Chrissy and fell in love! The photo of the yellow bikini further down is also ATG) and last but not least the super cute orange polka dot pair is made by my friend Erin who designs for Triangl (she has literally just brought out these amazing neoprene bikinis that are to die for, go and check out her online boutique!!). And there you have it… Just quietly, I would love to be relaxing at some of the places below right now! xx

Love Hearts and Sequins.

So on Tuesday 5th Feb, I caught up with the amazing Liz from Street Smith to have a little play around with my outfits, and her photography. We first crossed paths a couple of years ago when I worked for Green with Envy and she was the resident photographer for all the street style shots of the girls there, along with the online store. Not only is she super talented, but so so nice!! We got along so well and I can't wait to work with her again in the future.. Although, you can't really call it work! Anyway, below is one of my favourite outfits! The cute lil cropped love heart tee is Wildfox (distributed by Eyegasm in Australia), the amazing 'Rainbow Serpent' jeans are made by Res Denim, the 'must have' black handbag  is by Dylan Kain, and the fun and super comfortable silver sequin shoes are by Top Shop. I always find it hard to describe my style as it is forever changing, but as Liz said, she can always see me in a relaxed, casual look with a touch of difference. I'm only recently starting to become a little more out there with clothes that I'm wearing as at the end of the day, I love clothes and enjoy having a bit of fun and being a bit crazy sometimes!! It was hard to pick only a few of my favourite images from the look book to share with you as there are so many that I personally like. But I managed to pick like a fifth of them (yes it is a large collection) !! Here's my faves below.
Okay after uploading them I now realise I chose maybe a few too many. Oh well, better more than not enough! I have a slight problem/ addiction with clothes and shopping.. However, I am slowly starting to learn the satisfaction of purely 'window shopping'. Just looking at the clothes and admiring, as I know for now there is no way I could afford as much as I would like to buy!! hmmm…xx
