Fenella Scarlett ft. Camberwell Market, Coming this Sunday.

So it's come to a time where I need to part ways with my belongings.. After being spread out across two houses, over filling 4 wardrobes- scattering clothes throughout the house in boxes- I'm proud to be saying, this Sunday 3rd March I am having a Camberwell Market Store. A friend texted me the other day out of the blue saying she had a spot, right at a time when I was just thinking about how to get rid of all my things. It's funny the way the universe works.. Sometimes it's like you are talking to it in your thoughts, and it answers in mysterious ways. Anyway- its not a car spot so I can't give you the best info, but as I am told, I believe I am situated in the middle walkway at the back of the car spots there. I don't have an amazing group of things, but as they say 'One ladies trash, is another's treasure.' So I'm sticking to that belief and going for gold.. I just need to make sure I stick to my store and don't go wondering- spending more then I make. Something I am good at, and have a tendency of doing a little more than I would like.
So if you lovelies are free this Sunday, pop down! I'll be there from about 6:30-7am, hopefully by that stage all set up and ready to go! There will be a few goodies there so don't miss out! Hope to see you.. If I don't know you, introduce yourself and say hi! I love meeting new people and making new friends :) xx (NOTE TO PEOPLE: photos below are taken from google images and are not my own photos or clothes.. just like to include imagery to get the feel of the post, you know!? And just to clarify, I know the photos are a little bit silly and clash with each other but whatevs) xx

Isabel Marant

In 1994, Isabel Marant (born in 1967) founded her label, named after herself. She has 10 shops worldwide in the cities of Tokyo, New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Madrid, Bejing and more. She is also stocked in more than 35 countries world wide. Hailing from the beautiful city of Paris, she is commonly known as 'the French girl with the just-rolled-out-of-bed, can't-be-bothered look', yet she always looks amazing and women around the world want to look just like her. Along with celebrities such as Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung and Rachel Weisz. My beautiful French friend Marta of Life of Boheme actually works at Le Bon Maché in the Isabel Marant section of the well known department store. Marta is known around the world from her blog as she has that same style and certain "thing" about her that makes her style so unique and eye-catching. I definitely recommend checking out her blog, 'Life of Boheme.' Anyway, Marant blends her bohemia style with her tomboy street chic effortlessly and I am in love with her 'Pre-collection Spring Summer 2013' designs, in the photos I've shared with you below. I have just picked my favourite of the bunch but click HERE to see some more of the collection. A lot of her fashion is quite expensive making each item special and I intend to save up to buy a few of her pieces! They are well worth it! Anyway, the first photo below is of Marant herself, and was taken by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin which was published in Vanity Fair, January 2011.

I believe it was the high-top wedge sneakers that made fashion headlines worldwide with photographs of Miranda Kerr, Beyonce, Gisele Budchen, Petra Ecclestone and Rihanna all wearing the 'must-have' item of the season, making Marants
household name to those who had never heard of the designer before and were a little late
off the band wagon.

Anyway, from now on I know that Marants label will only of from strength to strength as
women and girls across the world want to be just like her. A definite cool cat and one to
always keep an eye out for!

Clover Canyon Prints.

Clover Canyon makes some of the most amazing prints I have seen! I could buy the whole collection, the colours are so vibrant and the clothes fit on the body perfectly. I am in love with the printed slouch lounge pants as well as the neoprene printed mini dresses. If you are looking to brighten up your wardrobe or something for a special occasion, I highly recommend sourcing some Clover Canyon. If you are in Melbourne or Adelaide, we stock lots of the pieces at HUSK so definitely come into store and check it out. We are expecting a delivery any moment. Anyway, here are some pieces that I personally love below… Enjoy :) xx

My Sister. Sunday Life Cover. 16.09.12.

So I open up The Age today and I see my beautiful sister Alice on the cover of the 'Sunday Life' supplement. Looking beautiful as ever, I suspected the photo was taken just after giving birth. However, after speaking with Al she tells me she was 8 months pregnant!! Wow, I never thought looking like that while preggers was possible :) Anyway, I took photos below to share with you. Hopefully you can read the interview and hope you like!! The second photo is of her label, the model wears the 'Felix' top for $199 and 'Arthur' shorts for $259.
The article is based on designers making Bali there second home and you can understand why!! What a beautiful country and it's only five and a half hours away!!

WILDFOX white label collection. 'Being Good- Being Bad'

So if you haven't already heard of the label Wildox, then here's a little sneak peak inside one of their collections. This is their latest 'white label' collection 'Being Good- Being Bad.' For all info and stockist details for them ( or in other words, to find out where you can get your hands on some of their amazing pieces), contact Eyegasm Brands (this link will take you to their Facebook page which has more information). You can also call them on (03) 95287300 for any questions or to find out stockist details.
It was hard to pick only a few of my favourite images from the look book to share with you as there are so many that I personally like. But I managed to pick like a fifth of them (yes it is a large collection) !! Here's my faves below.
Okay after uploading them I now realise I chose maybe a few too many. Oh well, better more than not enough! I have a slight problem/ addiction with clothes and shopping.. However, I am slowly starting to learn the satisfaction of purely 'window shopping'. Just looking at the clothes and admiring, as I know for now there is no way I could afford as much as I would like to buy!! hmmm…xx

Oldest sister, Alice McCall.

My oldest sister Alice started her label Alice McCall around 10 years ago. Having been a stylist for Natalie Imbruglia and MTV she started off styling music artists such as Kelis and Blondie. Soon later, Al was making these amazing silk tops (I still have one) which Kate Moss stumbled across and loved- I remember feeling pretty proud! She then designed for label Buddhist Punk and caught the attention of Sass and Bide designers Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke where she went on to design for a couple of seasons. Finally starting her own label. I have bought many pieces from each collection and I have order 16 pieces from the latest!! If you haven't already seen her stuff check it out at the link above. I've included some photos from the latest collection below. Love? I do!!
My favourites would have to be 3- I love the neon yellow shoulder! Photo number 10- I think this dress is stunning and could be worn dressed up or down with a pair of cute sandals, photo 11- super cute outfit and would get a lot of wear out of it! Photo 16- I'm a sucker for printed pants and jeans, love them!! A LOT!! I have a rather large collection which I am constantly wanting to add to and these will fit nicely ;) and lastly photo 19- loving the printed shorts and the top is beautiful. Anyway, hope you enjoy xx
