Love Hearts and Sequins.

So on Tuesday 5th Feb, I caught up with the amazing Liz from Street Smith to have a little play around with my outfits, and her photography. We first crossed paths a couple of years ago when I worked for Green with Envy and she was the resident photographer for all the street style shots of the girls there, along with the online store. Not only is she super talented, but so so nice!! We got along so well and I can't wait to work with her again in the future.. Although, you can't really call it work! Anyway, below is one of my favourite outfits! The cute lil cropped love heart tee is Wildfox (distributed by Eyegasm in Australia), the amazing 'Rainbow Serpent' jeans are made by Res Denim, the 'must have' black handbag  is by Dylan Kain, and the fun and super comfortable silver sequin shoes are by Top Shop. I always find it hard to describe my style as it is forever changing, but as Liz said, she can always see me in a relaxed, casual look with a touch of difference. I'm only recently starting to become a little more out there with clothes that I'm wearing as at the end of the day, I love clothes and enjoy having a bit of fun and being a bit crazy sometimes!! Martalicious of 'Life of Boheme'

I first met Marta back in the days of Myspace. By chance we found each others pages and since that day, years and years ago, we stayed in touch. She worked for my sister Alice McCall in her Paris fashion week show, and also met my other sister Bridget designer of Life with Bird. Then I was finally able to meet my 'internet buddy' (so to speak), when she visited Australia. However, we unfortunately didn't get much time to hang out. I knew that couldn't be the end of our friendship, so in 2011 I flew to Paris with my fiancé Sam, and we stayed with Marta and her man Pierre-Marie Maulini in their Parisian apartment in the heart of Paris. They showed us round to all the local spots (as well as some tourist destinations that you just can't miss) and also took us into the heart of Paris which is not a tourist destination, but the true Parisian markets and secret spots that only the locals know about. Her blog, which I mentioned in a earlier post Life of Boheme is one of those ones where you are just waiting for her next post as she is so talented and inspirational. Anyway, Marta- I love you and can't wait till our next encounter! I can only wish to emulate the natural style and coolness you have, as you are not only beautiful on the inside, but truly gorgeous and lovely on the outside as well!! These photos I have below are from Marta's personal collection ( I'm hoping you don't mind me using them Marta!?) and are just some of the hundreds of faves I have of this beauty :)….  The tenth photo down is one of Marta and myself in Paris from when I visited her. Excuse what I'm wearing. Don't think I was thinking when I put that outfit together! Anyway, don't really care about the way I look cause I'm hanging in Paris with Marta!! Miranda is home.

So last night I had dinner with my beautiful family and my sister had a the October/ November 2012 issue of RUSSH sitting on the table. I see Miranda Kerr on the cover wearing an AC/DC top from Cream on Crown and custom made Willow shorts specially made for RUSSH. She looks hot! There's a bit of a Q&A with her on page 25 of the mag reminding us that she is the first Australian Victoria's Secret Angel who has also walked for the likes of Balenciaga and Miu Miu. She's the girl who was crowned 'Dolly' model of the year at age 14 and since then Australia and the world has fallen head over heals in love with her. You get the idea that she's laid back, friendly and someone who you'd like to know, which is refreshing. Bad Sports by KSUBI.

Bad Sports, Ksubi's latest collection is in store now. If I could buy the whole collection I would. I am not joking, I love all of it! Aila Wang.

Look out Suri Cruise, (not that she's ever really been a fashion icon in my eyes) Aila Wang has arrived. She's caught the eyes of the fashion world and even has her own Tumblr. If you don't already know and haven't yet guessed, she is the little 3 year old niece of Alexander Wang. Aila was spotted at the Wang SS13 show in NY wearing her own custom made dress by the designer, accessorised with blackout shades, her own Chanel purse and mini Nike trainers (photo 2). What an outfit! I would totally wear the same if it was available in my size. In saying that, she does not look silly wearing an outfit that could be worn by an adult (as some young girls do when they dress up way to old for their age), in fact she looks perfect and stylish which has led to her photograph being splashed across social media, especially on the many fashion blogs out there. She is also the owner of the cutest pair of creepers and her very own mini Alexander Wang bag (photo 7 and 8)!! Oh Aila, I love you! enjoy xx
