Palvin, born on October 18th, 1993 turns 20 this year and has already achieved a great amount in her Modelling career. She was discovered at the young age of 13 and has since appeared on the cover of many well known fashion magazines such as Vogue and Harpers Bazaar, as well as loads of amazing editorials and campaigns such as her contract with L’Oréal for 2013, H&M denim S/S 13 denim campaign, Victoria's Secret Swim Fall 2012 among many others. Not only this, but she has also walked the runway for the likes of Prada exclusively, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Nina Ricci, Christopher Kane, Jeremy Scott, Vivienne Westwood and opened the pre-fall 2011 Chanel show.
It is so exciting that she is now here in Melbourne, to celebrate one of Australia's biggest fashion events with L’Oréal Paris. Barbara joined the L’Oréal Paris family in 2012 and is the youngest ambassador to be signed to the infamous L’Oréal Paris 'Dream Team.' She now joins the names of these other beautiful, accomplished and inspiring women such as Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce Knowles, Milla Jovovich, Doutzen Kroes and Australia's own Megan Gale, to name a few. Also, Models.com listed her at number 23 in the 'Money Girls Rankings.' .
While in Melbourne, Barbara will join the Australian face of L’Oréal Paris, Megan Gale, in attending the coveted Luncheon on the 18th, the LMFF Opening Event on March 19th and will also be sitting front row for the start of the much-anticipated L’Oréal Paris Runway Shows on March 20th. Barbara had this to say about being the face of Shine Carasse;
"I love cosmetic products and am thrilled to be the face of Shine Caresse , a modern, ultra-sensual lip colour that is young, fresh and perfect for enhancing my different looks. My modern outlook on beauty is totally in line with this brand!"
I have to admit, I was really excited when it was announced that Barbara would be attending the festival. I have always thought she was extremely gorgeous and she seems like a beautiful person on the inside (as well as out, of course!) . So I'm hoping I will get the chance to see her and maybe get a lil piccie! Fingers crossed. Take a look at these beautiful photos below, hope you like them! I am in love with them- they are so natural and gorgeous. Just very beautiful shots- not much posing, with a little bit of playing around and a lot of smiling and laughing. The photos really do come to life! Love Fenji xx
